#1: Turkey Sandwich with CBD Mayo
You can never go wrong with a classic like a turkey sandwich. And if you thought turkey sandwiches were boring, think again – you’ve probably never had one with CBD before, after all.
- 2 slices whole-grain bread
- About 4-5 slices of deli turkey, the fresher the better
- Handful of fresh arugula leaves
- 2 thin slices red onion
- 1/2 dropper Supercharged™ CBD Oil in Mystic Mint
Cook the bacon in a pan on high heat, and once the bacon is crisp, place it on a paper towel sheet to drain out the excess oil.
Toast your bread and stack it with the turkey, bacon, arugula, and onion.
Into a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, mustard and CBD oil.
Spread this onto the bread.
A chickpea salad offers tons of essential nutrients that can get you through the day ahead, including protein, iron and fiber. It’s also filling, and outrageously tasty.
- 2 16oz cans cooked chickpeas, drained
- About 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- About 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 small shallot, peeled and minced
- 3 tbsp feta cheese, crumbled
- Handful of fresh spinach leaves
- 1 dropper Supercharged™ CBD Oil in Mystic Mint
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Combine all of the ingredients in a salad bowl and stir well.
Fajitas are a nice alternative to sandwiches, offering up a festive Mexican flair to lift your spirits during a long workday. We use rotisserie chicken purchased at the grocery store to make this recipe quick and easy.
-1 rotisserie chicken, shredded with bones discarded
- Small flour tortillas – according to how many fajitas you plan to serve
- 1 yellow onion, peeled and sliced in ½ inch slices
- 2 bell peppers, stemmed, cored and sliced into ½ inch slices
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and thickly sliced
- About 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 dropper Supercharged™ CBD Oil in Mystic Mint
- Sautee the onions, peppers and garlic in the sauté pan with the olive oil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat the tortillas by placing them on the burner of your stove and turning the - - heat onto medium-low, flipping periodically so that they don’t burn.
- Place the chicken into a separate serving dish, after warming it in the microwave.
- Place the cilantro, sour cream, and salsa into small bowls to serve on the side.
- Into the sour cream, mix the dropper of CBD oil.
#4: Avocado Toast with Poached Egg
Avocado toast may be a brunch staple, but it also serves as a very nutritious lunch that gives you a boost of healthy fats to give you some much-needed energy. We’ve added a poached egg to make it even more filling, and also provide you with some delicious protein.
- 2 large pieces of thickly cut bread
- 2 avocados, pitted and peeled
- About 1 quarter of a red onion, peeled and thinly sliced
- About 8 small cherry tomatoes, halved
- Handful of baby arugula leaves
- 1 dropper Supercharged™ CBD Oil in Mystic Mint
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fill a saucepan with water and bring it to a boil.
- Once it reaches a boil, drop the eggs in to the pan, and quickly take a slotted spoon and press it along the edges of the whites toward the yolk to keep the eggs compact while they cook.
- After about 3-4 minutes, use the slotted spoon to gently bring one egg out of the water - the whites should be set, with the yolks runny.
- While the eggs are cooking, place the avocado into a bowl with the lemon juice and CBD oil.
- Use a fork to mash the mixture together.
- Toast the bread using an oven, broiler, or toaster oven.
- Spread the avocado mixture evenly over the bread slices.
- Carefully place a poached egg on top of the avocado on each slice.
Then, garnish with the onion, tomato, and arugula
- Season with salt and pepper.
A simple, fast and tasty lunchtime option is a classic caprese salad, bringing together the fresh flavors of Italian cuisine along with a little help from CBD.
- 1 ball of fresh mozzarella, about 7 ounces, sliced into ½ inch slices
- 2 large tomatoes, stems removed and sliced into ½ inch slices
- About 16 fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 dropper Supercharged™ CBD Oil in Mystic Mint
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Onto a plate, stagger the slices of mozzarella and tomato.
- Then, top with the fresh basil leaves.
- Into a small bowl, stir together the olive oil and CBD oil.
- Drizzle the salad with the olive/CBD oil mixture and the balsamic vinegar, before topping with salt and pepper.
